The big problem nowadays is over acidity, which can be very dangerous for our health because it weakens all body systems. Our health depends on the acid-alkaline balance directly and if we maintain it properly it will solve many health problems.  If you feel tired, bad-tempered and long for some vitality again maybe your body alkaline needs to be balanced.

Too much stress, sugar, alcohol, wheat or diary foods, can tip into over acidity or acidosis, which causes the body to use up valuable calcium to buffer the acid away, and to store the excess acid in our tissues and muscles. It leads to serious health problem.

Mild acidosis can cause such problems as:

  • Hormone concerns.
  • Premature ageing.
  • Osteoporosis; weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs.
  • Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid build-up.
  • Low energy and chronic fatigue.
  • Slow digestion and elimination.
  • Yeast/fungal overgrowth.

Such minerals as calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium help maintain and balance the body with acidity and alkaline. The urine test can show you the level of each of them to know if you need to balance it.

Your body is able to absorb minerals and nutrients accurately only if its pH is balanced. Otherwise it is completely useless taking healthy nutrients if the body will be unable to absorb or use them. If you didn’t get any result from your nutritional or herbal program, check your acid alkaline balance as we say earlier by urine test. Even the accurate herbal program may not bring you any result if your body’s pH is not balanced.

The reason acidosis is mainly due to the usual diet, which consists of too high in acid-producing animal products like meat, eggs and dairy, and too low in alkaline-producing foods like fresh vegetables. Also, eating acid-producing processed foods like white flour and sugar and drinking acid-producing beverages like coffee and soft drinks increase body acid level. As using too many drugs, which are acid-forming; as using artificial chemical sweeteners like NutraSweet, Equal, or aspartame, which are extremely acid-forming  increase the body acid level enormously.
