Baked Stuffed Apple


Method: Remove the core from the apple but leave the apple intact. score with a sharp knife around the “waist” of the apple, cutting through only the skin. Mix together the dried fruit and the honey and pile into the centre of the apple where the core has been removed. Place in a ovenproof dish and bake in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes, or until cooked. Serve with yogurt poured over the top.

Ingredients: 1 large cooking apple, 25 g dried fruits, 1 teaspoon honey, 2 tablespoons natural low-fat yogurt.
